Holy!Holy!Holy!

The poem you are about to read is intended to be both a send off to the end of innocence in the author’s life and the lives of her loved ones, as well as a study of the darkness that lies in seemingly idyllic existences. The poetess points out how as we grow older we begin to notice the rot under all the fast paced joy we have participated in for so many years.

The photographs featured in this publication are part of the author’s ongoing project with damaged and expired film that she finds in broken cameras at garage sales. They are inspired by William Basinski's Disintegration Loops, an artwork you can find on YouTube.
